THE ARRIVAL


Finish line after 1260 something km's, ok Gerald made few extra looking for me and fetching his camel back that he had left behind... 16 days of cycling and 2 days of rest... We are tired but HAPPY...

This is like a old fridge in Calicia.. In rural ares every house has their own food storage that they used before the fridge came in to the kitchen...

In Calicia the seanery and roads changed completely, it was so beautiful to ride through these forest roads and paths...

CONVENT OF SAMOS




We visited the convent of Samos. It is a huge convent but only 15 munks live there. In that evening we had a nice meal with a Dutch couple also travelling by bike and a Danish lady walking alone.

I arrived in Samos before Gerald, I lost him on the way, he has taken a small Camino and i carried on on the main road, he had the only phone and I had no money on me so I got credit from the local bar to call him...
